Progetto BRIDGE

BRIDGE – Bringing Digitalisation to the Older Generation

The Erasmus+ project BRIDGE – Bringing Digitalisation to the Older Generation, aims to improve the educational and teaching skills of staff in residential care homes for the elderly and/or intermediary organisations providing home care, in relation to the topics of “active ageing” and “bridging the intercultural, intergenerational and social divide”.

Specifically, BRIDGE:

  • Identify and formulate the social and digital skills relevant to home care staff, older people and young people.
  • Develop scenarios for intergenerational culinary events where these skills can be practised in informal settings such as games, online cookbooks, and communal cooking events.
  • It promotes the social inclusion of older generations and the development of social and digital skills through staff training and culinary events.
  • It creates an innovative fusion between culinary heritage and digital readiness through communication between young and old and the development of online cookbooks by young people.
  • It collects traditional recipes and adapts them to modern, healthy nutritional values as a contribution to the culinary heritage of European regions.

There are six project partners: M-Aroundbased in Hungary is the lead partner. The other five partners are us at Associazone 2050 in Italy, APSS CR in the Czech Republic, Crea360 in Spain, Spektrum Eductional Center and Blankcon in the Netherlands.
